Paris, 7 February: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will co-chair the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Action Summit in Paris on 11 February, alongside French President Emmanuel Macron, marking a significant moment in global discussions on AI governance.
The high-profile summit, held as part of the Paris Peace Forum, will bring together key world leaders, including US Vice President JD Vance and China’s Vice Prime Minister Ding Xuexiang, alongside top business leaders, academics, and representatives from civil society.

“French President has invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the Artificial Intelligence Action Summit, and we have accepted the invite. We will update you about further details,” Jaiswal said in a briefing.
Macron, during his address at the 30th Conference of Ambassadors in Paris on 11 January, also confirmed Modi’s visit, calling it a major step in forging global AI partnerships.
“France will be hosting the AI Summit on 10-11 February. A summit for action, as we call it. This summit will allow for an international conversation on AI. There will be Prime Minister Modi, who will move up to a major visit in our country as we want to forge a dialogue with all powers on AI,” Macron said.
