Georgia Jones, the wife of McFly guitarist Danny Jones, has reportedly cancelled a scheduled public appearance this weekend after her husband was filmed kissing former Love Island star Maura Higgins at a BRIT Awards afterparty.
The 38-year-old model and podcast host was due to take part in a live Q&A this Saturday alongside her Mum’s the Word podcast co-host Kelsey Parker at The Baby Show at London’s Excel. However, sources claim she has now withdrawn from the event, feeling “mortified” and “humiliated” by the incident.
Neither Georgia nor Danny, who have been married since 2014 and share a seven-year-old son, Cooper, have addressed the matter publicly.
A source told MailOnline: “Sitting down for a Q&A in front of a live audience is not what Georgia needs right now. She is mortified at how this has all played out and can’t help but feel humiliated.”

The alleged kiss
The controversy erupted after The Sun published a video reportedly taken in the early hours of March 2, showing Danny Jones, 37, and Maura Higgins, 33, in close conversation in the foyer of the BRITs afterparty venue. The clip appears to show Danny leaning in and giving the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star a brief kiss before they left the event with a larger group, including McFly bandmate Tom Fletcher.
Higgins was later seen leaving alone in a taxi.
An eyewitness described the interaction, saying: “Danny and Maura seemed to be having a great time. They looked like they had a brief drunken kiss. Danny and Maura seem to have a close friendship after meeting in the jungle. They were talking and laughing for ages.”
The alleged kiss comes after the pair struck up a friendship while appearing on I’m A Celebrity together last year. They reportedly sat at separate tables during the main BRITs ceremony at London’s O2 Arena before reuniting at the afterparty.
