Three stars made their exit from the Celebrity Big Brother house in a dramatic triple eviction, as former EastEnders actress Patsy Palmer, TOWIE personality Ella Rae Wise, and beloved presenter Angellica Bell all bid farewell just days before Friday’s live final.
Bell, known for her long-standing career on CBBC, became the fourth contestant to be evicted this season. Overcome with emotion, she shared heartfelt words about her journey on the show. “To get a place in Celebrity Big Brother was amazing,” she said. “I didn’t even think Big Brother would know who I was! Just being in there with such big characters and talented people was an honour. In my eyes, I’ve won this show.”
Patsy Palmer, who played the iconic Bianca Jackson in EastEnders, appeared cheerful and composed as she exited the house. When asked about her calm and reflective demeanour during her stay, she said: “That’s what makes this show so brilliant – it’s a proper experiment. Different ages, backgrounds, beliefs, all thrown together. That’s the message we need right now – we can all live together, despite our differences.”
Palmer was also asked to address Hollywood star Mickey Rourke’s on-air criticism of her cooking skills before his controversial departure. Rourke left the house earlier in the series following what producers described as “further use of inappropriate language” and “instances of unacceptable behaviour”. Palmer downplayed the issue, stating she was “not really” upset by his remarks.
Ella Rae Wise, the fifth housemate to be evicted, said she was “really excited” to be out and didn’t hold back in her post-eviction interview. The TOWIE alum offered a few pointed comments about fellow housemate Chris Hughes, saying: “I just feel like he never took time to get to know me. It’s fine, but I thought we were all equals in the house. At the end of the day, it is what it is.”
She went on to hint at some prior warnings about Hughes before entering the house, suggesting she had been “warned off a little bit”. Wise also cast doubts on the sincerity of his friendship with singer and Dance Moms star JoJo Siwa. “I can spot when someone knows what they’re doing, especially in this industry,” she said. “I just felt a bit protective over JoJo – she’s young and I didn’t want her to be used.”
Wise added: “They were in each other’s beds every now and then, apparently. I just didn’t want JoJo to come out and realise she was taken for a ride. But who knows? Maybe their friendship is genuine after all.”
The departures of Palmer, Wise, and Bell came just days after Olympic legend Daley Thompson became the third celebrity to leave the house. That leaves just a handful of finalists vying for the public’s vote ahead of Friday’s grand finale.
Still in the running are singer Chesney Hawkes, Love Island’s Chris Hughes, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK winner Danny Beard, comedian Donna Preston, Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd, and JoJo Siwa.
The triple eviction has certainly shaken up the competition and left fans eagerly anticipating the final outcome.
Celebrity Big Brother returns at 9pm Wednesday on ITV and ITVX, as the final countdown begins. The winner will be crowned during Friday’s much-anticipated live final.
