On Friday, Lahore High court (LHC) ordered police to impound vehicles emitting smoke to mitigate smog in Lahore. The ruling came from Justice Shahid Karim, responding to petitions from citix=zens seeking judicial intervention against smog.
Along with that, Lahore High court (LHC) instructed
Traffic police to crack down on smoke-emitting vehicles.
Motorway Police to act against stubble burning, with a warning of contempt of court for non-compliance.
In a recent hearing, PDMA reported a heatstroke, stating that an awareness campaign have been launched. Measures include deploying 20 water bowsers to Cholistan to address water shortages due to hot weather.
In regards of further review, the hearing is adjourned to next Friday
