In relation to the alleged triple murder of three ladies in a crossbow attack in Bushey, southern England, 26-year-old Kyle Clifford has been taken into custody.
“A man has now been arrested in connection with a triple murder which happened on Tuesday evening,” Hertfordshire Constabulary said Friday.
He was apprehended after a manhunt and discovered in Enfield, north London, in critical condition. Carol Hunt, 61, and her daughters Hannah, 28, and Louise Hunt, 25, were named as the victims.
They passed away in a hospital after being found there with serious injuries. Police think the incident was intentional because they found a crossbow.
The case has received a lot of attention since violence against women is still a major national concern in the UK. The effect of this horrific tragedy has been highlighted by the outpouring of tributes from coworkers and the larger community for the Hunt family.
“The investigation is moving at pace and as a result, we have now arrested a man. Enquiries are continuing at this time,” he added.
