A new documentary, “Amy Winehouse In Her Own Words,” has been released on BBC’s iPlayer, offering fans a fresh and intimate look at the life and career of the late singer. The documentary includes never-before-seen footage and performances, providing a poignant glimpse into the story of Winehouse, who tragically passed away in 2011.
The film showcases several key moments from Winehouse’s career, including a 2007 BBC One session following the release of her critically acclaimed second album, Back to Black, which catapulted her to international fame. In addition to this, the documentary features performances from Later… with Jools Holland, her appearances at Glastonbury in 2004 and 2008, and her iconic performance at the 2004 Mercury Music Prize.
