MUSCAT: A pathetic happening occurred in Oman’s capital, Muscat, where a shooting happened at the Majlis-e-Aza ( mourning assembly) held at Imam Ali Mosque in the Wadi Kabir area that was followed by over 700 people including partners of the Pakistani community, departing four people killed and many others bruised.
Local media reports showed that “The shooting caused a stampede, resulting in additional injuries as people were trampled that resulted in the death of two Pakistani nationals.”
According to the Ministry of Foreign Office (MoF), “Pakistan has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the mosque which resulted in multiple casualties, including the deaths of two Pakistani nationals.”
The declaration communicated that “The Pakistani Embassy in Oman is working closely with Omani authorities to identify and repatriate the remains of the deceased.”
Observing the invasion, Omani protection forces fastly ceased off the mosque, but no detentions have been completed so far.
The bruised have been bolted to nearby hospitals, with 6 conveyed in essential circumstances.
In a videotape, Ambassador Imran Ali conversed about dwelling in regional hospitals to match the contused and ensure they obtain adequate care.
He articulated “A helpline has been established to assist the Pakistani community in Oman and address their concerns.”
The Omani government has balanced the invader, and Pakistan has promised full permission for the inquiry to obtain those accountable for this blatant action to judge.
