Seventeen is a K-POP Group, that recently achieved a milestone of becoming the first K-pop group to perform at Glastonbury. They delivered a high-energy set on the Pyramid Stage.
Their group consists of 13 members. For the performance, they dressed in shades of black and performed in a highly synchronized way, along with peppy hits like “HOT”, “ROCK with you”, and “VERY NICE”, making thousands of music fans thrilled with the performance.
Despite being unknown in the UK, they drew an enthusiastic crowd of festival-goers.
“Even though the language, country and culture are all different, we can still connect as one through music,” singer Joshua Hong told the crowd after performing ‘SOS’.
“It was really good, it was so much fun,” said Kiera Finn, 26, from Liverpool in northern England, who said she had never heard Seventeen before.
“The crowd was so good … It was kind of, like, this is what Glastonbury’s all about, and everyone was just having fun.”
