Uorfi Javed, known for her bold fashion statements and outspoken personality, recently faced public harassment that left her visibly upset. The incident occurred while she was being photographed by paparazzi, with her mother and family present. Uorfi, who has gained a lot of attention both for her style and her candid nature, shared the disturbing experience on her Instagram story, raising concerns about public behavior and respect.
The actress detailed the incident, writing, “Yesterday something extremely uncomfortable happened with me and my family. A group of guys were passing by while I was getting papped, and one of them shouted at me, ‘What’s your body count?’ in front of everyone. The boy was hardly 15 years old. He did that in front of my mother and my family.” Uorfi expressed her shock and dismay at the boy’s behavior, especially given his young age.
Uorfi also posted a video shared by paparazzo Viral Bhayani, which captured the moment when she was visibly taken aback by the boy’s comment. In the video, she can be seen stepping out of her car to pose for the cameras when the teenage boy made the inappropriate remark. Uorfi’s expressions clearly showed her discomfort as she processed what had happened.
Sharing the video, Uorfi wrote, “You can clearly see from my expressions I was taken aback! I wanted to punch that man right in front of the paps. Please teach your boys to respect women or people in general. I feel sad for the boy’s parents.”
The incident followed a positive moment for Uorfi, as she had just received praise from Tollywood actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Samantha had lauded Uorfi’s bravery on her show Follow Kar Lo Yaar, which touched Uorfi deeply. In response, Uorfi shared Samantha’s praise on her Instagram story, expressing her gratitude and admiration for the actress, writing, “I think I will cry the whole night now! Never came across a woman like you.”
Despite the harassment she faced, Uorfi continues to stand strong, using her platform to call for respect and awareness. She highlighted the importance of teaching young boys to behave respectfully, not only toward women but people in general, in hopes of preventing similar incidents in the future.
