Apprehensions within the ruling association have exacerbated over the federal allocation
To negotiate the budget affairs, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has reached the Prime Minister’s House in Islamabad to visit Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, quoted by the Tribune news.
On Thursday, From the office of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, an announcement was declared, face-to-face negotiation between PM Shehbaz Sharif and Bilawal Bhutto is on the way currently.
Bilawal is attended by Yousuf Raza Gilani, Khurshid Shah, Senator Sherry Rehman, Naveed Qamar, and Raja Pervaiz Ashraf at the Prime Minister’s House.
Bilawal will demonstrate his party’s qualms about the federal budget and problems sustaining the Federal and Punjab Governments to the Prime Minister, as reported by the sources.
It is important to note that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had requested Bilawal Bhutto to negotiate the Budget affairs after prolonging Eid-ul-Adha salutations over the Phone.
As per sources, the meeting is bearing after pressures within the ruling partnership had exaggerated over the federal budget for the fiscal year 2024-25.
Both at the Federal and Punjab levels, the PPP has been at chances with the Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) over the fiscal budget.
The PPP considers that the PML-N is accepting them for granted, especially by banning their information in the PSDP budget.
Bilawal Bhutto during the meeting will keep his absence from the National Assembly’s Budget session, including the PPP Chairman will consider the next initiative depending on the outcomes of the meeting with the Premier, as per sources.
If the meeting will be fruitful to amazing results, they considered, there will be complete anticipation in the meeting session; otherwise, the parliamentary party will consider the course of action.
In this consideration, insiders also stated, that PPP’s participation in today’s funding session will also be representational.
PPP has appointed four members for token participation in the National Assembly session. Among those experiencing in the session will be Qadir Patel, Shabbir Ali Bijarani, Colonel Asad Niazi, and Agha Rafiullah.
The PPP believes that the PML-N has not only ranged from their post-election consensus but is also initiating to assume the PPP for vested.
