BEIJING: China’s State Council Information Office on Thursday dismissed a white paper labelled “Marine Eco-Environmental Protection in China” to distinguish China’s preservation struggles and accomplishments in oceanic eco-environmental security.
But the introduction and ending, of the white paper contain seven parts: “Improving Marine Eco-Environment for Harmonious Coexistence Between Humans and the Ocean,” “Coordinating Marine Eco-Environmental Protection,” “Systematic Governance of the Marine Eco-Environment,” “Science-Based Conservation and Restoration of Marine Ecosystems,” “Strengthening Supervision and Administration of the Marine Eco-Environment,” “Advancing China’s Green and Low-Carbon Maritime Development” and “Carrying Out All-Round International Cooperation on Marine Eco-Environmental Protection.”
“China is a strong supporter of and an enthusiastic party in securing the aquatic eco-environment, which is important to its ambitions to create a stunning China and a firm marine motherland,” the white paper stated.
“Over many years, China has emphasised eco-environmental protection and sought recurring administration. It has blended growth and security struggles, and sustained high-quality expansion with high-level conservation, struggling to create navigational eco-circumstances of cooperative co-occurrence between humans and the ocean,” the document stated.
“Gratitude many struggles over the years, China’s marine eco-environment has presented the whole advancement, with a spotted rise in the capability of environment compassion and operation in specific sea regions,” as per the white paper.
“These achievements are a testament to the country’s commitment to marine eco-environmental protection,” it claimed.
The white paper claimed, “China has demonstrated its commitment as a responsible major country by actively promoting international cooperation in protecting the marine environment, faithfully fulfilling its responsibilities and obligations under international conventions, and contributing Chinese solutions and strength to the global governance of the marine environment.”
