Pakistan’s Ministry of Finance hikes petrol price by Rs7.45, and diesel by Rs9.60 per litre, by issuing a notification announcing this increase in prices for petroleum products effective from July 1.
The petrol has been increased by Rs 7.45 per liter, moving prices from Rs 258.16 to Rs 265.61 per litre
Similarly, diesel prices have increased as well by Rs 9.60 per litre, rising price from Rs 267.89 to Rs 277.49 per litre.
As per the notification, these new prices will be effective from July 1, applicable for the next 15 days. The decision follows directives from the federal government amid global fluctuations in oil prices. The adjustment aims to address ongoing economic pressures and maintain stability in the energy sector. The Ministry has urged stakeholders to adhere to the new prices and has emphasized that authorities will closely monitor the implementation to ensure transparency and fair pricing across the petroleum distribution network.
