Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has described Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s official China tour as historic and highly flourishing, expressing optimism that it will have an optimistic influence on the country’s growth and Development.
At a news conference in Islamabad on Monday, he deliberately claimed the conviction that there will be developments on contracts and schemes such as ML-1, Karachi Circular Railway, a Chinese tech company’s provision of IT training to two hundred thousand Pakistani youth, and the second phase of CPEC in the coming weeks. He further claimed that an updated rendition of CPEC will enable the youth to benefit from this.
The Information Minister further claimed that a new era of Pakistan-China collaboration has started. He expressed optimism that this relationship would stand forever and that there would be continual friendship in bad times, too. The Information Minister states that the protection of Chinese Nationals is our utmost preference.
Attaullah Tarar claimed that the finances are heading in the correct direction, while inflation and the current account deficit are reducing. However, as the Information Minister stated, our foreign exchange reserves are enough for imports.
The Republic of Pakistan is also following developments on the foreign desk, he stated. Becoming a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council with major seats, including elections, is a big achievement of Pakistan’s relationship with other countries, further claimed by AttahUllah Tarar.
