LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz-led administration accepted the “Roshan Gharana” agenda under which solar panels will be offered to millions of residents preserving between 50 to 500 units of electricity, in a request to offer affordable electricity to inflation-beat groups.
As per an authorized notice, the result was revealed during the regional cabinet session led by CM Maryam in Lahore on Monday.
To enhance endurable significance solutions, the provincial government accepted this endeavour. The administration will accept 90% of the prices of the solar panels, but, the left 10% will be recompensed by the customers.
Point to ponder, the solar panels will be delivered to the customers in manageable installments over five years.
The Punjab chief executive called for a cabinet conference tomorrow (Tuesday) to professionally accept the ‘Roshan Gharana’ agenda of giving solar panels to the people.
The authorized notice claimed that “As per user’s needs, the ratio between government electricity and the power obtained from the solar system would be determined.”
The provincial government determined to conduct this agenda to handle the problems of the high prices of power supply and energy troubles.
Observing the transparent methodology, the most disadvantaged and most unsatisfactory homes will be nourished with solar panels foremost.
Along with defining the concessions of this endeavor including eco-amiable power sources during the conference, CM Maryam articulated: “ We will not leave our people alone during difficult times. We are trying to protect our people from the effects of the past destruction.”
Emphasizing the potential instability that may be developed in the lives of the assemblies due to this agenda, she counted: “ People will not have to face the present issues after five years.”
