There was a ceasefire between PTI and them, claimed by Fazlur Rehman.
ISLAMABAD: On Tuesday, JUIF chief Fazlur Rehman claimed that he didn’t have any communication with the Adiala Jail prisoner adding that social media was misguiding the people in this matter.
Fazalur Rehman claimed a statement that there was a ceasefire between PTI and them while discoursing a meeting here. He stated further, that the current government has yielded its writ in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He further claimed, “We rejected the results of 2018 and we reject the results of 2024 elections too. After Eid, there would be a meeting of Majlis-e-Amila in which the future action plan would be made.”
“In the current situation, there’s no solution other than fresh elections. We are not the ones to resign from the assemblies, we are the people to play a role there. We did not compromise on principles and will not surrender politically, as we believe in a democratic and parliamentary system,” he further claimed.
He claimed that the republicans of the four provinces had refused the stealing of elections through public multitudes and pointed to the world that the election consequences were not authentic.
Fazal claimed a statement the country was putting stress on them without offering occupation and Fazl said the state was putting pressure on them without providing employment and not abiding by their requirements. He stated further, “The situation is the same in Angoor Ada. The Durand Line has divided houses and this is the situation from Waziristan to Chaman. The house is divided; they are taking away the employment opportunities from the people in Chaman in the name of Pakistan’s interest.”
“We have been thinking and waiting for the institutions to come to their senses; the issue has to be resolved, an environment for cooperation should be created and demands of people should be accepted,” Fazl claimed further. “We do not want to see the army and national defense weakened but they want to look strong and want to see us and parliament weak.”
He expressed that Pakistan is an Islamic country but Republicans were vanishing adding, “We tried to pass legislation in the past to prevent forced disappearances.”
