Tesla CEO Elon Musk expressed concern over Apple’s “security violation” after the company announced its deal with Sam Altman’s OpenAI.
On Monday, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk claimed he would restrict the service of Apple products in his enterprises after the phone-manufacturing giant cooperates with Sam Altman’s OpenAI.
Musk, 52, expressed his problems on Twitter about Apple and OpenAI’s security of user data, mentioning their software integration as “an unacceptable security violation,” according to CNBC,
The tech billionaire violated the enterprise and claimed it has “no clue what’s actually going on”.
His comments followed Apple’s declaration of its incursion into artificial intelligence, comprising an update to its agent assistant Siri, which allows it to employ OpenAI’s ChatGPT chatbot.
Apple secured users that their permission would be respected before sharing information with ChatGPT and that their data would not be reserved.
“It’s absurd that Apple isn’t smart enough to make their own AI, yet is somehow capable of ensuring that OpenAI will protect your security & privacy!” Musk expressed after the occasion.
He particularly claimed that Apple machines would be restricted if the enterprise “integrates OpenAI at the OS level,” mentioning Apple’s operational approach.
The company is employing its own AI, and its cooperation with OpenAI is a choice feature, Apple told CNBC.
Responding immediately to a post from Apple CEO Tim Cook, Musk stated he would exclude Apple gadgets from his enterprise’s assumptions unless Cook resolves to “stop this creepy spyware.”
He further claimed that his company’s tourists would be requested to inspect their Apple gadgets at the door.
