GILGIT: On Saturday, in Nasirabad, Prince Rahim Agha Khan launched a new Technology Software Park.
A partnership struggle for new opportunities among the Special Communities Organizations (SCO) and Agha Khan Foundation (AKF-P) proposes to enhance the growth of Gilgit-Baltistan.
The park’s main objective is to offer uninterved electricity, high-speed internet signals, and collaborative areas for startup businesses, freelancers, and local brands.
It will serve as a central hub in a network that communicates other IT opportunities across different areas. It will boost approaches to distance learning, entrepreneurship, career recommendations, and digital expertise to enhance the development and growth of the region’s citizens.
The ceremony looked over the existence of key personalities, involving SCO DG Maj Gen Umar Ahmad Shah; Sultan Ali Allana, director of the Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development and chairman of Habib Bank Ltd; Nizar Mewawalla, president of the Ismaili Council for Pakistan; and AKF-P CEO Akhtar Iqbal.
Prince Rahim is dwelling in Pakistan to assemble with government officials and community authorities and reconsider new Aga Khan Development Network projects in Gilgit-Baltistan.
