The QS World University Rankings assess universities across five key indicators: Research and Discovery, Employability and Outcomes, Learning Experience, Global Engagement, and Sustainability. Deakin’s success across these categories demonstrates its holistic approach to education, research, and global collaboration.
Deakin’s Growth and Leadership in Sustainability
Deakin University has shown particular strength in the Sustainability category, where it recorded its most significant growth, moving up 217 positions to rank 66th globally and 13th in Australia. This category evaluates the environmental impact of universities, a criterion that has become increasingly important to students worldwide. In our relatively brief history, we have achieved remarkable growth and continue to foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and excellence while staying true to our foundational principles of inclusion and educational access,” Professor Martin stated.
