GILGIT: The Babusar Road, a well-known tourist terminal, resumed operations on Monday after being seized for seven months.
Due to heavy and extreme rainfall, the government has to pause the operations of Babusar Road.
Diamer Deputy Commissioner Fayyaz Ahmad stated that mild traffic resumed Monday after snow removal from Babusar’s top and nearest regions.
He further claimed that the mobility of vehicles on Babusar Road from KP and GB flanks are permitted to operate from 5 am to 5 pm regularly till Eid-ul-Adha.
Additionally, the deputy commissioner claimed that traffic mobs are allowed only during the day due to high warnings of extreme snow melting during the day and freezing points at night. He further said that new travel hours on the road will be announced after Eidul Azha.
Every commuter must follow the policies announced by the travel advisory of the Met department.
Travelers and tourists have been appealed to schedule their tours for Babusar Road after inspecting the warning of Met Advisory.
