29 women honoured at Bharat Ke Anmol 2025 Awards in Hyderabad
Hyderabad witnessed an inspiring evening on Thursday (13 February) as 29 outstanding women were recognised at the Bharat Ke Anmol 2025 Awards ceremony at Taj Deccan. Organised to mark National Women’s Day, the awards celebrated the exceptional contributions of women across 22 diverse fields, ranging from political administration to fashion, journalism, law, and medical management.
The prestigious awards were presented by prominent personalities, including actor-politician Khushbu Sundar, Speaker of the Telangana Legislative Assembly Gaddam Prasad Kumar, Member of the Legislative Council Kalvakuntla Kavitha, and Telangana State Women’s Commission Chairperson Nerella Sharada.

In the realm of journalism, Komal Singh Manhas and Mruttika Banerjee were acknowledged for their impactful work, while Jyoti and Mamta Mohanta were honoured for their contributions to political administration. The fashion and beauty sector saw accolades bestowed upon Mizba Aga and Chandni Sharma, whereas entrepreneurship awards were granted to Roopa Maganti and Karne Sirisha for their pioneering efforts.
Philanthropy was also recognised, with Mufeeda Begum being commended for her humanitarian work. Additionally, Shree Ananya Gaddam and Prof. Dr. Sumana Srinivasan were lauded for their contributions towards women empowerment.

The medical and legal administration categories saw Dr. Najafi Begum and Md. Naseema Begum receive recognition, highlighting their dedication to their respective fields. K. Leelalaxma Reddy was acknowledged for her significant role in advancing the green revolution, while celebrated musician Veena Srivani was among the distinguished recipients of the evening.
Retired IAS Officer K. Ratna Prabha was honoured for her exemplary service in good governance, and Loretta Nadar was awarded in the travel and hospitality domain. Among the younger awardees was Avani Veeramaneni, who was recognised for her achievements in car racing.
Lifetime achievement awards
The most esteemed honour of the night, the lifetime achievement award, was conferred upon Padma Shri Dr. G. Padmaja Reddy and Dr. Jareena Begum for their remarkable contributions to the fields of dance and health and beauty, respectively.
