The airport closes for 24 hours because of an aircraft expulsion functioning, as reported in The Samaa News.
On Thursday, a fire explodes in an airplane concerning a foreign airline at the Peshawar airport.
As per aviation news, “The fire broke out in the landing gear of Saudi Air flight SV-792, which was departing from Riyadh and landing at Peshawar airport. The air traffic controller informed the authorities about the fire.”
The accident urged instant protocols as 276 passengers and a 21-member group were rapidly expelled using emergency slides.
On landing, firefighting forces reacted swiftly and handled to cease the fire rays catching the whole aircraft. Luckily, no damages were conveyed among the passengers or force associates. A few little bruised passengers were helped with first assistance.
Airport management and aviation specialists are studying the actual cause of the fire. Earlier reports suggest that “the fire erupted as the plane was touching down at the airport.”
The incident caused a brief casualty at Peshawar airport.
Observing the accident, the airport was announced to close for 24 hours because of the plane’s existence on the airport taxiway. According to a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM), “The runway closure will last from 10:35 a.m. today until the same time tomorrow. All flights to the Peshawar airport will be diverted to alternative airports.”
Because of the long aircraft reduction functioning, the time period of the runway shutdown may be extended.
