Ex US first lady claims “A monster who recognised my husband as an inhuman political machine attempted to ring out his passion”, reported in The GEO NEWS.
WASHINGTON: Ex-first lady Melania Trump claimed on Sunday that “A gunman who opened fire at a Donald Trump rally was a “monster,” as she condemned the assassination attempt in which the Republican presidential candidate was injured.”
“A monster who recognized my husband as an inhuman political machine attempted to ring out Donald’s passion — his laughter, ingenuity, love of music, and inspiration,” Melania claimed in an assertion communicated on Twitter.
“When I watched that violent bullet strike my husband, Donald, I realized my life, and Barron’s life, was on the brink of devastating change,” she stated, mentioning the couple’s 18-year-old son.
“I am grateful to the brave secret service agents and law enforcement officials who risked their own lives to protect my husband,” Melania spoke.
Donald Trump expressed “He was hit in the ear when a shooter targeted an election campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on Saturday.”
The sharpshooter and a spectator were killed, while two observers were severely damaged.
The ex-first lady claimed she presented her “sincerest sympathy” to the relatives of the sufferers, expressing: “Your need to summon your inner strength for such a terrible reason saddens me.”
Melania, 54, has been slightly entertained with her husband’s White House movement, forgetting to attend a single Trump march and seldom binding him in public.
She has also stayed primarily missing during the ex-president’s numerous court impressions in recent months to oppose lawful cases against him and as he stood up his 2024 election campaign.
