“Our relations stand on our strength,” the prime minister emphasizes in a meeting with the Russian president, as reported in The International News.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif told Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday that “Islamabad and Moscow’s relationship stood independently and emphasized the need to enhance bilateral cooperation further.”
During their conference, the premier said, “Our relations stand on our strength. They are neither driven by any geopolitical contingency nor impacted by our relations with other countries.”
The prime minister is presently in Astana, Kazakhstan’s capital, to hear the twin Summits of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Council of Heads of State and SCO Plus.
