‘Only the Palestinian people can decide who governs them,’ claims an ambassador.
The Palestinian presidency raised a point on Sunday declining any governance of Gaza by international forces in reaction to statements by the Israel movement for such an action.
“There is no legitimacy for any foreign presence on Palestinian Territory, and only the Palestinian people can decide who governs them and manages their affairs,” claimed Nabil Abu Rudeineh, the official envoy for the presidency.
Beginning of that day, the Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported an unknown security official claiming that the Israeli military would remain in the Gaza Strip until an international force is located to alternate it, which could take numerous months to live on!
Abu Rudeineh affirmed “the illegitimacy of colonies and the displacement policy that the occupation authorities were trying to implement on the ground through bloody massacres.”
“We will not accept or allow the presence of a foreigner on our land, whether in the West Bank or the Gaza Strip,” he claimed.
“The Palestinian issue is one of land and statehood, not a matter of humanitarian aid. It is a sacred cause and the central issue for the Arabs.”
Israel, defying a UN Security Council resolution requiring an instant cease-fire, has dealt many international condemnations surrounding its persistent cruel violent actions on Gaza since an Oct. 7, 2023 strike by the Palestinian group Hamas.
According to local health authorities, approximately, 37,900 Palestinians have since been killed, many women and children, and almost 87,000 others wounded.
