A tragic incident occurred in Deer Park, Long Island around 4:30 p.m. on Friday, when a man, Steven Schwally, driving from Dix Hills crashed his SUV through the front window of the nail salon.
He was allegedly speeding through the parking lot.
Police arrested him on a charge of driving while intoxicated. He resulted in many injuries.
Causing 4 deaths and nine injuries.
Dead people included three women and one man while injured people included a 12-year-old girl along with other two serious injuries.
Suffolk Country Police stated that the salon was open and on business at the time of the crash. Along with this, fire officials stated that Schwally was semiconscious when his vehicle stopped nearly at the back of the salon. He was transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries and remains hospitalized until further notice.
