20-year-old shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks of nearby Bethel Park was massacred by a Secret Service sniper, reported in The International News.
The viewer who was killed in the attempt that mention Donald Trump at a Pennsylvania march has been recognized as Corey Comperatore, a 50-year-old firefighter and father of two children.
“We lost a fellow Pennsylvanian last night, Corey Comperatore,” the state´s governor, Josh Shapiro, described to reporters. “I just spoke to his wife and his two daughters.”
He claimed, “The victim was a churchgoing firefighter and an enthusiastic Trump supporter who loved his community and most especially…his family.”
Shapiro called Saturday´s assassination attempt, in which two other bystanders were offended, “shocking, for this Commonwealth (state) and the country.”
The other sufferers have still to be recognized, though NPR news affiliate WESA mentioned: “Hospital officials in Pittsburgh as saying both were local men, and both remained in critical condition.”

One of Comperatore´s daughters, Allyson, mentioned her dad in a Facebook post as “the best dad a girl could ever ask for,” the one who is always anticipatory to aid and fast to “make friends with anyone.”
“The media will not tell you that he died a real-life superhero,” she claimed.
“He threw my mom and I to the ground… (and) shielded my body from the bullet that came at us.”
Shapiro also expressed Comperatore as “a hero” who killed in safeguarding his family. He claimed, “State flags would be flown at half-staff to honor the victim.”
“Corey was an avid supporter of the former president,” Shapiro counted, “and was so excited to be there last night.”
A GoFundMe page initiated to present money for the Comperatore family had welcomed a charity of nearly $330,000 as of 3:00 pm (19H00 GMT).
